As part of the continuing development of the Lighthouse Centre, a new provision to support our most vulnerable and often challenging young people, we are delighted to be advertising for a Social, Emotional and Mental Health Lead Practitioner.


This will be a challenging but rewarding role in improving the life chances of children who need lasting change, help and support.

This is an exciting opportunity to shape and further develop provision for the most vulnerable young people.

Essential Qualifications

  • Level 2 or equivalent qualification in English/Literacy and Mathematics/Numeracy
  • Qualification, certification or evidence of extended training in: counselling, therapeutic support, mentoring/coaching, behaviour, trauma, emotional & mental health and well
- being or similar for young people.

Desirable Experience

Recent proven successful experience working in a secondary school setting or other youth provision.
