Description
The duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Helping with daily routine, being creative with games, preparing food, feeding, changing nappies ,
  • To deliver a high standard of learning, development and care for children aged 05 years.
  • To deputise for the Senior Early Years Practitioner.
  • To ensure that the childcare setting is a safe environment for children, staff and others.
  • To developing partnerships with parents/carers to increase involvement in their child's development.
  • To be responsible for any tasks delegated by the manager.

Training to be provided

  • Level 2 Early Years Apprenticeship Standard.

  • Using own initiative

  • Basic understanding of childcare
  • Willing to work outdoors to support the safety of children and other staff members

  • GCSE English and maths grade A*C or 94 (Or equivalent) desired.

Things to consider
Training is delivered remotely via teams at the workplace. There is no travelling involved for training.
