Description

The duties will include, but are not limited to:

Helping with daily routine, being creative with games, preparing food, feeding, changing nappies ,
To deliver a high standard of learning, development and care for children aged 05 years.
To deputise for the Senior Early Years Practitioner.
To ensure that the childcare setting is a safe environment for children, staff and others.
To developing partnerships with parents/carers to increase involvement in their child's development.
To be responsible for any tasks delegated by the manager.

Training to be provided

Level 2 Early Years Apprenticeship Standard.

Desired skills

Good written skills
Using own initiative
Work well within a team
Basic understanding of childcare
Willing to work outdoors to support the safety of children and other staff members

Personal qualities

Desired qualifications

GCSE English and maths grade A*C or 94 (Or equivalent) desired.

Future prospects

Possible full time permanent position for the right person
Progression to advanced level of study
Further development of skills through additional training

Things to consider
Training is delivered remotely via teams at the workplace. There is no travelling involved for training.
