About the Digital Transformation Consulting (DTC) practice at Atos

Who we are looking for

  • As part of our growth strategy in the UK, we are looking to expand Digital Transformation Consulting's Project and Programme Management (PPM) team and build a team of professionals with the expertise to deliver successful projects and programmes for our customers.
  • Individuals work as part of a team in roles that will range from Project and Programme Management to PMO Lead depending on experience. It may be establishing a service from scratch or running and improving an existing function.
  • As a Subject Matter Expert you will not only have the opportunity to further your own skills and reputation but also that of Atos. As part of the PPM practice you will also be responsible for contributing to the PPM community, sharing learning and developing collateral for use by others.
  • Successful individuals will also need to be able to build positive relationships with partners and clients and ensure robust delivery across your engagements.
  • The Ministry of Defence (MOD) is a key client and we are specifically looking for individuals with experience in and a desire to work in the defence sector.
  • You will bring an understanding of MOD structures, governance and how the Ministry manages its teams. You will also have experience procuring high value equipment and delivering capability.

Crucial skills and experience:


  • At least 5 years' experience as in a 'project controls' role(s) in the MOD or as a project manager on complex projects procuring defence equipment and capability.
  • Demonstrable commercial understanding.
  • An understanding of MOD's project management methodology and approach.
  • MSP/Prince2/APM/SAFe or similar PPM qualifications.
  • Excellent stakeholder relationship, written and verbal communication skills including production of formal documentation.
  • RAIDO management.
  • Understanding of ISO44001.

Desirable criteria:

  • Working understanding of variety of PPM methodologies.
  • Experience delivering consulting assignments and contributing to the sale of consulting work.**How to apply
