Description
We are currently looking for a part-time Finance Officer, ideally with previous experience working within a university. This role is 0.6 days (21 hours), hours worked can be across 3 full days or 4/5 short days.

Our client is regarded as a world class institution providing outstanding education to students across the globe. You will be supporting two significant areas of growth for the University (combined forecast income >£15m).


Duties

  • Process invoices
  • Record income
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Reviewing monthly cash analysis
  • Validating student records

Essential

  • Studying an accountancy qualification
  • Experience of using a large accountancy package
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of basic accounting, including double entry
