An opportunity has arisen for the appointment of a Business Support Administrator supporting the Disabled Children and Young People's Team at Morton on Swale Children's Resource Centre.

The appointed applicant will be required to work at Morton on Swale Children's Resource Centre due to the nature of the tasks required of the role.


We require a motivated administrator with excellent communication and customer care skills suitable for dealing with a full range of service users and professionals.


Duties will include:

  • Printing confidential information for Social Workers and Managers at the Centre.
  • Processing monthly credit card payments
  • Opening the post, scanning this and uploading to the child's file, if appropriate.
  • Preparing petty cash and administering of this
  • Compiling monthly site statistics for management
  • Admin tasks to support with Ofsted checks
  • Support with the maintenance of the building reporting issues to properties
  • Supporting the team with any other administrative tasks
  • Supporting with the archiving of old files
  • Processing of Invoices for payment
  • Working and supporting other Centres remotely as and when required
The successful applicant must be able to prioritise their own workload and therefore have good organisational skills. Accuracy and attention to detail are very important, as well as the ability to work unsupervised.

You must respect the need for confidentiality of personal information and have knowledge of Data Protection, Equalities and Health and Safety requirements of working within an office environment.

You will benefit from a supportive management structure, ongoing personal development and performance management. Training will be given to the appointed person.

Enhanced Level DBS Disclosure is required for appointment to this post.
