Are you an experienced Director able to lead the strategic direction of a thriving accountancy practice?

This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on Director to join a leading team as an integral senior team member, who is passionate about business growth and motivated by succession planning.

You'll be FCA qualified with extensive experience within practice, with an impressive track record of business growth and demonstrable know-how of leading a team.

You'll be a proven and effective leader with excellent communication skills, responsible for ensuring the workforce is supported and motivated and able to deliver to a high standard.

RI status is desirable for this role, but not essential.

Job Purpose

Management of accountancy work for a significant portfolio, including accounts preparation, corporation tax, audits, and personal tax.
Working to ensure all departments are managing WIP and overseeing the commitment to deadlines and KPIs.
Collaborating with other departments to ensure that clients receive the benefit of all business services.
Identify opportunities to introduce and crosssell company services to new and existing clients.
Use a commercial mindset to strategically drive the firm's offering and promote the capabilities with other team members.
Representing the company at networking and business events, identifying new business opportunities.
Be a goto advisor to address client concerns and queries.
Nurture trusted and longlasting relationships with clients.
Providing appraisals, training and development for colleagues and team members.
Set an example for the team as a natural leader.
