Kitchen Assistant

The Beeches is a residential care facility in East Harling, 20 miles from the centre of Norwich, providing care to the elderly and those living with Dementia.

Responsibilities of a kitchen assistant

:

Unloading fresh supplies and organising the stockroom. Checking sellby dates and rotating food stock. Reviewing kitchen inventory and determining what items are needed.
Washing, peeling, and preparing food ingredients and using equipment such as mixers, special knives and cutters.
Cleaning kitchen appliances, ovens, dishes and pans and observing cooking times and correct temperatures.
