Accounts AdministratorAre you an experienced accounts administrator looking for the next step in your career, working for a York based tour operator
- who offer escorted rail tour holidays, worldwide
Salary; £25,000 per annum
Working days; Monday-Friday, 37.5 hours per week
Your day to day as an account administrator;
- posting of customer and travel agent receipt
- banking of customer cheques
- customer and travel agent refunds
- travel agent correspondence and associated queries.
- responsible for reconciling designated supplier accounts, processing supplier invoices and transactions
- providing information for payment batches on a timely basis and in an accurate manner.
- The role requires a level of query resolution and problem solving
Your experience as a accounts administrator;
- Proven previous experience of working in a high volume purchase ledger environment.
- A high level of numeracy and data understanding/manipulation.
- Confident and competent user of excel to an intermediate level.
- Excellent and diplomatic telephone manner re: supplier contact point.
- Excellent IT skills, including keyboard skills and Microsoft packages Windows / Office / Outlook / Explorer.
- A selfstarter with a positive, enthusiastic 'can do' attitude and a down to earth approachable manner.
- Able to work under pressure to meet deadlines with strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective management of own workload.
