Credit Manager - Stand Alone | Bolton | Up To £42,000

Axon Moore are excited to be partnering with a hugely successful business in Bolton as they look to add an experienced Credit Manager into their team.

This opportunity is an excellent chance to showcase your skillset and be a stand alone Credit Manager witha senior voice in the finance team.

This role is well suited to someone who has had extensive experience and technical understanding of full end to end Credit Control including implementing new processes and continuous system improvements.


What you will be doing:


  • Taking Control of an end to end credit control process
  • Implementing processes and setting up systems from scratch
  • Putting controls in place
  • Monitor payment history to identify changes in reparation and take necessary action
  • Maintaining regular contact with customers to ensure good management of debt
  • Review and implement revised compliance to standard policies and regulations
  • Conduct negotiations with customers to set terms
  • Evaluating credit status of debt ledgers
  • Ensure cash and debtor targets are met
  • Commence legal action where necessary
  • Monitor payment history to identify changes in reparation and take necessary action

Person Specification:


  • Proven experience as a senior credit controller or in a stand alone credit role
  • Comprehensive knowledge of credit control systems and processes
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft Excel
  • Efficient and methodical approach to time and task management
