What you will do
Work with our HR Director and senior stakeholders to

  • Design and implement HR strategies
  • Discuss business strategies, HR challenges, plans or policies
  • Working with management in their business area to make sure employees have the skills and resources they need to achieve their objectives
  • Developing plans for training, restructuring and succession and helping relevant staff implement them
  • Coaching Line Managers on our culture, ways of working and expected behaviours
  • Proactively build HR programmes to solve businesswide problems
  • Analyse and report HR metrics to senior stakeholders
  • Resolve matters related to employee relations

What you will need to succeed

  • Adept working in fastpaced environments
  • Working in startups is not easy. There is a lot of pressure and juggling needed to get things done
  • You will need to be resilient to ongoing change, and multitask responsibilities.
  • More importantly, you will need to demonstrate business acumen, and deeply align with our management culture and needs
  • You must feel comfortable challenging decisions and fighting your corner with datadriven evidence, where needed
  • Project management
  • As part of our value of "Having a system", you must be experienced in building strong documentation to support your ideas
  • We pressure test ideas in review meetings to ensure that the best idea wins.
  • We also believe that a strong process or idea has fundamentally good paperwork to back it up, so you can pass on your work as you grow with the company
  • Business acumen
  • What we look for: A HR person that understands the needs and demands of a growing business, as well as the mindset that requires
  • You will need to make pragmatic decisions that support the business even where they may be unpopular

Great to haves

  • Experience in an earlystage startup environment
  • Experience working and collaborating with the US market
  • Having worked with technology teams (mainly engineering and product)
  • Passionate and deeply interested in technology and looking forward to discover new ways of integrating it to the HR department
  • Good understanding of the fintech industry
