The Head Teacher and Governors of Trinity
Academy Richmond Primary School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and personable
GTA with high standards and expectations to work in KS1 and support pupils with
special educational needs. This is an exciting opportunity for the successful
applicant to work within an excellent team of staff and support the school's
further development of its inclusive practice and personalised provision for
pupils with special educational needs.


Role will involve:


  • Working
under the direction of the class teacher and SENCo or other appropriate staff,
supporting teaching and learning of pupils with special educational needs

  • Be
responsible for delivering personalised provision for pupils with special
educational needs

  • With the support of the
class teacher, planning and delivering interventions, with clear objectives and
appropriate learning outcomes

  • Fostering a positive,
trusting relationship with pupils and their families

  • Communicating
effectively with staff, governors, pupils, their families and carers, and other
agencies / professionals

  • Be
ing
responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of pupils in line with
policy and legislation, raising concerns as appropriate

  • An
excellent GTA with relevant experience

  • An
enthusiastic and hard-working team player

  • Motivated and positive with a cando attitude
  • Committed
to high-standards and expectations

  • Resilient
and flexible

  • Personable
with a good sense of humour

  • Willing
to support the Christian ethos of the school
