Visual Media Manager


We are recruiting for a Visual Media Manager on an interim basis for 14 months based out of the Birmingham office which you will be required to attend 2 days per week.

You will be a key member of the Brand and Creative Team. The Visual Media Manager is responsiblefor maintaining and strategically evolving the high standard of the brand visual storytelling. You will manage and curate all kinds of visual media, ensuring appropriate brand and legal compliance.


As a Visual Media Manager, you will need to have/be:

  • Skills in one or more of the following areas: photography, videography, graphic design, art working.
  • Skills in the functionality, operation, and evolution of Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems.
  • Skills in visual asset research, curation, commissioning, and cataloguing.
  • Ability to retouch photos and edit video.
  • Ability to selfmanage and organise one's workload.
  • Analytical skills and a proven ability to interpret and respond to changing landscapes and understand and communicate complex issues with clarity and consistency
  • Communication skills including providing reports and liaising with internal stakeholders, influencing, and negotiating.
  • Knowledge and understanding of creative processes and media, including legal compliance.
  • Knowledge of visual and written design media and software.
  • Knowledge of visual storytelling for brand building.

Role of Visual Media Manager:


  • Reporting to the

Senior Manager:

Brand Visual Identity, you will be accountable for researching, curating, managing and commissioning brand-building photo, video and other visual assets, ensuring they're available for use in flagship creative work acrossall channels, platforms and experiences.


  • Work collaboratively with the Brand & Creative team and other key teams across the business and project teams, to identify and get buy in for strategic opportunities to advance brand visual storytelling appropriately across different channels, platformsand experiences, ensuring a joined up approach.
  • Proactive design and implementation of workshops, dropin clinics and other training and support programmes.
  • Creating and updating consent forms in liaison with Data Protection and Legal staff, recording and maintaining permission records to ensure compliance with all relevant copyrights, permissions and terms of use for each asset.
