About the role
We're currently recruiting for a casual Cleaner to join our in house cleaning team at Washington Court. Washington is the city's Emergency Bed hostel located in the city centre Trident Housing Association.

As one of our dedicated Deep Cleaners, you will help to deliver on our promise to always create the best and brightest experiences for our residents.

Some key responsibilities
Working alongside our cleaning teams to keep environments safe and hygienic for every resident.

  • Deep cleaning of communal areas to include stripping and polishing of floors.
  • Dusting, sweeping, polishing, mopping, and vacuuming designated litter picking areas to a high standard
  • Ensuring surface areas, floors, windows, and other touch points are sanitised regularly
  • Performing additional cleaning duties as and when required, such as mopping up spillages quickly and efficiently
  • Emptying and disposing of bin waste
  • Monitoring and restocking cleaning supplies
  • Dealing with hazardous and sharp waste
  • Deep cleaning of void rooms, and preparing them for new residents

About you

We are looking for people who have experience in providing a high quality cleaning service and have a good understanding of health and hygiene regulations.


Playing a major role at our emergency beds hostel in Birmingham city centre, our cleaners will be highly valued members of staff, responsible for ensuring a clean and safe environment for our customers and staff.
