Health and Safety Administrator


Location:
Stourbridge, West Midlands


Hours:
Full time office based, open to part-time working over a five-day period (Monday - Friday)


Assured Safety Recruitment are recruiting a Health and Safety Administrator, a newly created role due to expansion, to join a privately owned Health and Safety Consultancy.

You will join a friendly and supportive team, in a role that has strong development potential.


This role will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including maintaining records, producing reports, and supporting and assisting the Health and Safety Consultancy Team to deliver a first-class service to their customers.


Responsibilities:


  • Maintaining customer records
  • Managing and preparing health and safety documents and submissions to achieve compliance with external standards i.e. SSIP or ISO accreditations
  • General administrative support duties such as printing, binding, filing, bookkeeping and improving the format or design of documentation
  • Assisting in the production of health and safety reports and coordinating the necessary documentation and information
  • Developing relationships with customers, responding to customer queries and requests
  • Providing day to day administration and support to the Health and Safety Consultancy Team

Requirements:


  • A relevant health and safety qualification, e.g. NEBOSH General Certificate
  • Proven experience in an administration role, which includes a health and safety element or responsibility
  • Knowledge of existing health and safety regulations
  • Experience of using a range of computer systems and software
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
