Ground Support Officer - Humberside

Fixed Term - 12 month Contract

4 on 4 off shift pattern including nights.

Reporting to the Humberside Ground Operations Supervisor, the role of the Ground Support Officer is integral to the smooth running of the Operations department.

You will be working under your own initiative as part of a strong, open and resourceful team.

Duties will include but are not limited to:

The safe ground movement of all company aircraft using approved equipment and procedures.
The refueling of company aircraft in accordance with procedures contained in the Ramp Manual & SOPs.
Conduct Runway inspection / contamination checks in accordance with local procedures.
Conduct Daily Fuel sampling in accordance with SOP's
Conduct Aircraft Marshalling
Prep aircraft for charters in accordance with Standard operating procedures.
Assisting with the loading or unloading of company aircraft.
General cleaning and upkeep of aircraft hangars.
The cleaning & detailing of company aircraft using approved equipment and procedures.
Complete driving tasks as required.
Take responsibility for GSE control and completing weekly checks.

Essential Requirements:

Teamwork skills
Ability to work to strict timelines
A good record of dependability
Excellent communication skills
Ability to sustain a proactive approach in a fastpaced dynamic environment
Ability to work well under pressure, and be flexible to changing and competing demands
Experience in a similar role is advantageous.
Previous experience using Radios advantageous.

In addition, applicants must be able to demonstrate the Right to Work in the UK and hold a valid UK Driving Licence.
