We are looking for someone who is committed to delivering high-quality services and who can work independently and as part of a team.

If you have a passion for pay and reward, job evaluation and projects, and you are looking for an opportunity to join a friendly and supportive team, then we want to hear from you

The Role:

You will provide professional insight and advice on pay and reward policies and practices within the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, working collaboratively with HR colleagues, managers, and other stakeholders to contribute to achieving the objectives of the overall HR function.

As a specialist in job evaluation, you will use your expertise to ensure that posts are evaluated using either HAY Korn Ferry or GLPC Evaluation and in accordance with the Council's organisational design principles, pay policies, and good practice on equal pay.

You will be responsible for the job evaluation process and methodologies working with managers across all areas of the organisation.

You will lead on identified People Strategy related Projects within Pay and Reward engaging with contacts across HR and the wider council to ensure objectives are achieved.

Using knowledge of data, organisation structure and feedback from services to present ideas and suggestions for change to improve our policies and practices.

About You:

In addition to your technical expertise, you will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

You will provide specialist advice and coaching to HR&OD colleagues and managers at all levels on pay and reward matters, helping them to develop their skills and capability and increase compliance.

Your experience could have been gained in either a pay and reward or generalist HR role.

You'll need significant experience of job evaluation and be trained in either or both of the Korn Ferry/Hay evaluation scheme and the local government job evaluation scheme GLPC.

Training will be provided for the other job evaluation scheme if you do not hold both.

Join us, and you can look forward to a package that includes a competitive salary, a high-quality pension scheme and generous annual leave plus bank holidays.

And as a key member of our team, you'll also have plenty of opportunities for development and progression within our organisation.
