About the Role:
Our site at Rogerstone Park employs around 1,600 people and produces a huge range of ready meals for retail customers.
It's a busy, fast-paced business and we're looking for somebody who can develop our internal and external communications strategy and play a key role in raising the profile of the business in the local area.
- Improving our internal communications to develop a 'community' feel within the business through a range of activities such as staff forums and social events.
- Using a range of social media platforms to promote the company, showcasing our values, achievements, and ongoing commitment to diversity, equality, and inclusion.
- Developing communication and engagements strategies to grow stronger ties with a range of local groups and oganisations such as schools, colleges, and charities.
- Promoting the business at open days, job fairs, and school/college events to raise our profile and help us become a local 'employer of choice' and engaging with local charities, projects, and initiatives that make a real impact in the area.
- Developing and improving recruitment marketing materials.
About You:
- Creative mindset with a flair for developing and delivering innovative engagement activities.
- Experience of successfully creating engaging social media content and campaigns to raise the profile of an organisation.
- Innovative approach to developing and delivering communication and engagement strategies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to influence colleagues at all levels and engage with a broad, diverse audience.
- Proactive and flexible, able to plan and prioritise in a fastpaced environment.
- Team player with a collaborative and inclusive approach.
- Strong IT skills, able to use spreadsheets, social media boards.
