The E.ON I&C Pillar combines the current nPower nBS & E.ON B2B businesses to create a new £5billion revenue business serving c60,000 customers and around 300,000 meter points with a view to becoming the number one B2B energy supplier in the UK.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Programme Support Officer to join our Digital Technology & Change team.

For this role, you will provide vital support to assure and co-ordinate change for Industrial and Commercial (I&C) across an entire set of programmes, projects and other related activities.

You will be responsible for providing robust governance and assurance of change processes to ensure smooth running of change programmes and projects.

This role is based in Solihull with hybrid working.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the monthly financial forecasting round within the required timescales. Build, populate and maintain cost models to measure financial performance and clearly show variance and exceptions to plan.
  • Produce and maintain a clear Programme Plan on a page for all I&C change ensuring accuracy of information.
  • To maintain the Risk, Assumptions, Issues and Dependencies (RAID) framework to ensure that projects/ Scrum teams manage risks in an appropriate manner and adhere to tolerances for escalation to Programme Manager/Board.
  • Ensure tolerances, exception templates and supporting processes are in place and actively used.
  • Produce and issue management reporting.
  • Ensure fit for purpose frameworks are in place across I&C to include; Ticket Management, Process Governance, System Access & Controls and license allocations.
  • Provide management information reporting for Junifer ticket KPI's.

What we need from you

  • Strong organisational skills with a structured and logical approach in order to gain maximum benefit from available resources and ensure deadlines are achieved.
  • Excellent interpersonal and clear communication skills, capable of engaging with different levels of the organisation.
  • High quality analytical skills, capable of clearly identifying and solving problems proactively.
  • High level of PC literacy including MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook, MS Project, Jira.

It would be great if you had

  • Industry knowledge and experience or understanding of the structure and organisation of utilities and their core activities.
