Are you a SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a new role in Norwood, Lambeth?

Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join an Autism Resources Provision (ARP) within a primary school based in Norwood, Lambeth starting immediately.

This is a full time, long-term role for the full academicyear with a potential to go permanent upon review. The daily rate for the position will be between £80 to £90 dependant on experience.

The School:

The primary school is 'Good' Ofsted rated with a dedicated ARP on site for students aged between 2 to 11 years old with Autism.

The school aim in providing support to students to enable them to reach their highest potential while creating a stimulating environment.

The ARP consists of 15 students of which teaching is separated between mainstream classes and classes within the ARP. All students hold an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP). The school is easily accessible by public transport and has free parking on siteand on local roads.

The Position:

You will be working within the ARP supporting a student with Autism within a Reception class. You will be working with the student on a 1:1 basis within the classroom of up to 8 students. You will be required to support the student academically and emotionally.
This is a full time role, 5 days a week from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM.

To join us and be successful in this role you will need to:

Hold previous experience working within SEN
Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
Legal right to work in the UK
