Are you an SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a new role at a dynamic primary school in central Birmingham?

A long-term SEN Teaching Assistant position is available, working on a 1:1 basis with a KS1 pupil with high needs SEN.

** £400 - £450 per week

The SEN Teaching Assistant:


For this SEN Teaching Assistant position, you must be a Level 3 SEN Teaching Assistant with experience working with a variety of additional needs, primarily Autism and complex learning difficulties.

Ideally, you will have worked with non-verbal pupils and havean excellent communication style, allowing for you to build a good rapport with the pupils you are working with.


The SEN Teaching Assistant Role:
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be providing 1:1 support for a child in KS1 with additional needs. This includes both learning assistance and wellbeing support for your pupil, who requires 1:1 attention at all times.

You will also be providing supportin the classroom and in small groups, assisting with differentiating work to suit the level of ability of the children you are working with.


The School:
This primary school caters for KS1 and KS2 children, and is an Ofsted 'Good' school.

There is fantastic support from the SLT, who will assist you with resources and facilities to help with your work.

There is extensive training for SEN Teaching Assistants,adding to your professional development.
