Role

Our client who are based in Fenton, Stoke on Trent are looking are looking to fill a new role in the Operations / Manufacturing side of the business.

They are a bespoke joinery company who supply to the commercial, leisure, healthcare, education and fit-out sectors.

The role is intended to fill a void as someone in the team have moved more towards the design side of the business and will be a conduit from Design to Manufacturing.

Duties and responsibilities
Understanding the construction & build up of our products.
Quantifiying material from drawings & producing take offs for procurement (Excel).Creating Job Sheets / Delivery notes (Excel).
Knowledge of materials including timber, sheet materials, glass, metalwork ironmongery & materials finishes.
Integration / Assistance to procurement.
Liasing with customers & suppliers.

Skills and experience
Proficient use of Excel.
Use of web based portals for CAD Drawings & other documents.
Knowledge / Experience in AutoCAD.

Someone who has worked in Timber or Sheets Material sales, may already have a knowledge of materials that could be key.
