ABC Controls & Risk Manager
Glasgow
As a Barclays ABC Controls & Risk Manager, you will act as the key support within the ABC team, supporting the governance documentation and risk management oversight.
You will work alongside the ABC VP lead for Glasgow to deliver the ABC framework including governance, KIs and oversight of ABC breach management.
As an ABC Controls & Risk Manager, you will also demonstrate expected behaviours in line with the Barclays Mindset and deputise for senior ABC management where required.

What will you
be doing?:
- Looking after the ABC leadership team in delivering governance and oversight
- Acting as the key support in the oversight of KIs and management information
- Helping the VP lead in Glasgow in undertaking the QA of the wider advisory process
- Assisting the VP lead in Glasgow in overseeing the risk and controls environment
- Overseeing the SLAs and submitting the SLAs for ABC
- Coordinating the One Compliance Risk Assessment
- Acting as a central point of contact for any BIA or Compliance Assurance reviews
- Taking responsibility for the oversight and execution of key ABC Projects and programme enhancements
What we're looking for:
- Proven technical expertise in Financial Crime or Compliance background
- Proven experience of working across teams and able to contribute to the strategic direction of a business
- Skillful coordination in working across a wide range of stakeholders both within and beyond the function
- Excellent written and spoken communications skills

- Experienced within governance or risk and control environment
- Knowledge of the dynamics of large, complex organisations and matrix working
- Excellent relationship and stakeholder management skills
- Highly organised and structured with a key focus on execution and driving key items forward
