£46,000 - £49,950 per annum

MacKenzie King are delighted to be recruiting a Financial Accountant for an international business based in Ipswich.

Duties will be varied to include:

  • Work with the finance management team to improve profitability and cash flow through the execution of effective financial control
  • Produce statutory accounts in accordance with the relevant accounting principles and legislation
  • Prepare the audit working papers for the year end including Group reporting
  • Complete the month end reporting including the preparation of working papers and managing Group reporting closure
  • Ensure compliance of financial standards and other financial legislation
  • Ensure tax compliance and associated reporting including supporting UK SAO requirements, VAT, Employment Tax, Corporation Tax, Tax Strategy and Transfer Pricing
  • Prepare working papers for Corporation Tax
  • Prepare the VAT return
  • Complete Office for National Statistics Surveys
  • Undertake full monthly balance sheet reviews investigating and resolving any issues
You will be a qualified Accountant able to operate effective reporting standards in line with international accounting standards. A proven communicator, you will be proactive in your approach whilst looking to make continuous improvements.
