Hours:37 hours per week.

Salary:
Starting at £22,805 per annum.

Duration:
Permanent, in line with funding. Current funding has been granted until 31st March 2025.

In this role you will be required to provide face to face therapeutic intervention and support to young people seeking help to tackle their drug and alcohol misuse, using the range of models and methods that have been agreed for use within the Dyfed Young Persons Service, conduct triage, risk and comprehensive assessments in order to assess individual needs, identify goals, prepare a support package and to review the programme and outcomes on a regular basis and provide crisis intervention where necessary and appropriate.

You will assist in the development and delivery of DYPS training, group-work and structured interventions, signpost young people on to other relevant agencies and empower individuals and enable them to help themselves through informed choice and decision making.

You will also ensure access to and maintenance of appropriate support networks and services for young people, maintain appropriate written client records and case notes and actively support young people to stay engaged with the DYPS.
