Job Description:


Due to continued growth we are currently recruiting a Transport Clerk - Compliance, to help strengthen our compliance team within our ever growing Transport operation team.


In this role you will support the Compliance Controllers in monitoring the legal compliance for all of the department's and the agency HGV Drivers, as well as ensuring adherence to company policies.

Our Transport operation runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week so because of this this role will require you to work days

Other key focuses will be;

  • Investigate, record and resolve missing mileage to ensure Transport hit company required compliance targets
  • Complete licence disclaimer checks, Time right and Lead in checks for both employed and agency drivers as directed and required
  • Working with the Traffic teams to ensure tasks such as required driver envelopes are received and all documentation is completed and correct.
  • Identify trends and highlight these to relevant managers within the Transport operation.

Qualifications:

What we are looking for;

  • Have some understanding of Tachomaster, associated systems and be able to generate required reports.
  • Previous knowledge of Transport Compliance would be advantageous but not essential as full training will be given
  • A high standard of computer literacy with a thorough knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
  • High attention to detail to produce accurate and quality work
  • Proven and demonstrable experience of working in a fast paced environment
  • A self motivated and organised individual.
