The Role
We are currently searching for a job coach who can help individuals with disabilities, as well as those who are not in education, employment or training (NEET), to improve their abilities, cultivate job skills and attain their career aspirations whilst working at their placement.
We believe that with the right guidance and support, these individuals can achieve great things and we are committed to finding a coach who shares our values and passion for helping others succeed.
As a mentor, it is important to genuinely care about supporting others and helping them succeed.By recognising each individual's strengths and weaknesses, a Job Coach can guide them towards effective strategies that will help them achieve their goals.
It takes patience, understanding, and a willingness to listen to truly make a positive impact on someone's life.Duties and Responsibilities
- Actively support young people aged 1625 who are on work placement, providing them with support within the workplace, guidance, and motivation to facilitate their achievement of identified goals.
- Continually assess each young person providing informative and constructive feedback to the Quality Assurance Officer.
- Provide individual support for learners at the host placement.
- Maintain necessary paperwork and documentation to support and evidence the programme.
- Collaborate with the Quality Assurance Officer weekly ensuring that each learner is provided with the appropriate levels of support, ensuring their progress and wellbeing on the programme.
- Demonstrate a commitment to the safeguarding of vulnerable children and adults.
- Comply with Access Training (South West) Ltd policies e.g. Safeguarding, Equality & Diversity, and Health & Safety.
- To undertake travel as required as part of the role.
Please note:
All successful applicants will be required to undertake a disclosure and barring service check at the relevant level and complete company mandatory training in Health & Safety, Safeguarding, Prevent, Equality and Diversity, plus any other training as required by the company for the continued operation and development of the business.
You will need a full UK driving licence and your own vehicle available and insured for business use with no convictions or convictions pending.
