The team dealing with this long-established firms' larger corporate clients, have involvement in both accounts and audit work.

The chosen applicant will ideally be experienced enough to run audits and do accounts work from the start, but people slightlyless or more experienced will certainly be considered.

The firm will pay well for an independent firm and salaries could be up to mid-£40's, dependent on your experience and qualification.


  • For this position, the firm are ideally seeking to hire someone who could lead the audits, do accounts, consolidations, and there is career development, particularly in the accounts work.
  • All audit clients are local, based in and around Leicestershire, so travel demands are very limited.
  • The percentage of audit is 60 / 70% audit, versus 3040% accounts.
  • This firm have a lower than average working week in hours and rarely if ever work overtime
  • Holidays at this level are typically 25 + bank holidays and your birthday off.
  • Hybrid working is on offer, as when you are not at client's premises, you can usually spend 3 days in the office and work at home for
  • This is ideally a full time role, but part time hours may be considered.
  • This firm's clients are nearly all owner managed businesses, so you get real interaction and variety on audits and speak directly to the business owners, meaning real client relationship development. The role could be more rewarding than working on large,corporate clients for many people.
