About the role


This is an exciting opportunity to work in a new role as a Tenancy Sustainment Officer within our Housing Management Service with a focus on the 3 Towers in Devonport, for up to 8 months on a fixed term / secondment basis.

Working closely with the Housing Officer and Housing Management Team you will support individuals who may be affected by the works taking place.

You will assist them to engage with the works programme, enhancing liaison with the contractors on site and colleagues in the Regeneration Team.

You will also work alongside the PCH Communities Team to create opportunities for resident involvement, encouraging, promoting and supporting involvement from all customers within the 3 Towers.

This role may require working outside the normal core hours in order to deliver a holistic service that supports individuals, the community and the essential work PCH needs to undertake.


  • Is an enthusiastic selfmotivated person with extensive experience of working in social housing and/or the support sector.
  • Will provide practical assistance, advice, information as well as signposting customers and assisting with life skills, setting up home and all aspects of managing a successful tenancy.
  • Can conduct initial assessments for customers who have been identified as having needs and/or potentially at risk of tenancy failure and produce support/action plans with customers, assisting them to achieve identified outcomes.
  • Can work flexibly demonstrating experience of working in a customer focused environment.
