£30k - £35k depending on experience plus benefits

An exciting opportunity for a talented
Sous Chef to join a fantastic unique fine dining hotel in Ballantrae, regarded as one of the best Castle hotels in the UK.


The Role:

This is a great opportunity for an experienced
Sous Chef with a passion for great food and people. This Sous Chef role provides the opportunity to work in a prestigious 5-star Castle Hotel.

The
Sous Chef will have the ability to support the Head Chef in running the kitchen operations and will be rewarded with great career progression opportunities.


The Person:


  • Great people manager and culture focused
  • Excellent team player able to support both the Head Chef and junior kitchen team members
  • Passionate about fresh food, and is always looking for opportunities to develop the menu
  • Standards focused able to maintain consistency

Skills Experience and Qualifications:


  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role in fine dining environment
  • Have a passion for delivering great menus
  • Ability to train and develop a team
  • Previous experience in at least a 2 AA rosette restaurant or equivalent
