Description

A competent and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner required within a Nursery based in Birmingham, West Midlands.

The practitioner must be able to provide highest standards of care in a secure and safe environment where children feel valued, empowered and child centred approach.

This Nursery provides care to children 2-5 years of age and ensures to provide the highest quality of service.

The practitioner must be able:

To provide and promote a safe, caring and stimulating environment, which caters for the needs of the children and colleagues within the Nursery
Ensuring children have access to learning opportunities throughout their time at the nursery
Follow policies and procedures, including knowledge of the EYFS framework, thoroughly and appropriately referring any matters of concern to senior staff
SENCO experienced would be ideal
Key children following closely the development and progress of these children, developing strong working relationships with the parents and communicating about the child's development on a daily basis
Conduct housekeeping duties to support the maintenance of a clean and safe environment for children
Be responsible for a group of children, ensuring their personal and development needs are met and monitored, through planning, observations and by producing regular reports.
