Early Years Teaching Assistant - Hounslow

Do you have prior experience as a Early Years Teaching Assistant? Enthusiastic about teaching and supporting children? Live local to Hounslow?


If so, we have an amazing opportunity to join a an primary school in Hounslow who are looking for a fulltime, reliable Early Years Teaching Assistant who is confident to support primary aged pupils.

You will be supporting KS1 classes as a Early Years TeachingAssistant.


We are recruiting for a Early Years Teaching Assistant for a Primary School so recent experience working with children is essential within this role.

  • The school is a primary school that caters to children aged 3 years old to 11 years
  • The school has a specialist unit which supports children with moderate special needs and promotes inclusion across the whole school
  • The provides a broad and balanced curriculum is designed to support children in their futures
  • This school also offers a stay and learn sessions where families are invited to take part in lessons and gain insight into what goes on in the school
  • OFSTED 'Good' rated school

The role:


  • As a Early Years Teaching Assistant you be assisting with the learning of pupils
  • Provide 1:1 and inclass support for pupils when needed
  • Carry out other duties as may be reasonably requested by the class Teacher
  • Ensure all pupils have equal opportunities to learn and develop
  • Contribute towards a safe and supportive learning environment

Requirements:

Available to work Immediately and from 8:30 to 4pm, Monday to Friday:

  • Need excellent verbal communication skills for motivating children to learn
  • Recent experience working with children in a school environment is preferred
  • Either live in Hounslow or within a commutable distance

Pay rate is dependent on qualifications, experience and skills.
