Description

General Operator - Monday to Thursday 07:00-15:30 & 07:00-14:30 on Fridays.
We a recruiting for a General Operator to join our team at Staffs Laser Ltd.

The role includes a variety of tasks which may change as the business requires:

Putting together assemblies
General handling of materials
Basic machine operation
Packaging of materials before shipping out
Drilling/Tapping/Chamfering
Cutting of materials using a variety of saws
Helping out in Powder Coating

As a General Operator, you will ideally have the following qualities & experience:

Able to work in a fast paced environment
Ability to work off your own initiative
Willing to work as part of a team
High reliability & time keeping
Able to work on a variety of tasks
Checking own work

Previous experience working in a factory preferred but not essential. Forklift License preferred.

All required training will be given.
Rate of pay is £10.50-£12.00/hour with overtime available.
