Mortgage Adviser to join our
Gloucester based team


This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking business, that is looking to maintain its position as a trusted mortgage adviser to our target market and to further promote and grow the mortgage advice service that EFAS provides to the core customers of Benefact Group.

The role is predominantly telephone and videoconference based.


Key responsibilities
***:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing, new and prospective mortgage customers in order to achieve agreed business and personal objectives
  • Provide a fully compliant end to end independent whole of market mortgage advice service in accordance with all appropriate regulations and standards of service whilst maintaining professional standards at all times
  • Maintain accurate up to date documentation and records for all activity and client work undertaken, including preparation of suitability reports, ensuring that office systems are followed and updated at all times
  • Work effectively and collaboratively with other EFAS team's and team members
  • Provide effective representation of EFAS and customers on external forums including client seminars and meetings with key stakeholders and lenders, as required.

Knowledge, skills and experience
***:

  • Proven experience as a whole of market mortgage adviser advising on a full range of mortgage solutions (advisers currently working with a limited range of products also considered)
  • Track record of delivering business and personal objectives
  • Experience of using mortgage source systems such as Mortgage Brain
  • Experience of using financial adviser backoffice systems such as Xplan or Intelligent Office
  • Must hold and maintain Certificate in Mortgage Advice (or equivalent)
