Looking for that first move from practice to industry?? Our client is a successful Aim Listed business with an exciting opportunity to recruit a Regional Finance Business Partner based at their Glasgow based offices.


This position represents an outstanding opportunity to use core experience gained from within practice to look to develop and lead in the production of management accounts for key business lines, Whilst working with a developing key stakeholder relationshipswith finance and importantly non finance stakeholders.

Reporting into the Regional Financial Controller, you will work closely the management reporting and central finance teams, key responsibilities are:

  • Establish new and existing workable partnering relationships with key business line managers, project managers and site managers
  • Preparation of regional management accounts
  • Cost and Data analysis by site for month and period end
  • Production statistics and inventory movement reconciliation
  • Capital expenditure analysed and spend accurately reported
  • Sales and profitability analysis reporting
  • Forecast and budgeting for key sites
  • Assist central finance with balance sheet reconciliations
  • Supervise and take the lead with Assistant Accountants and other finance staff when required
  • Project work systems, operational transformation etc.


This role provides the platform to build on experience to date, bring to life the people element of the role, whilst giving the opportunity to supervise and manage team members.


You will ideally be qualified CA / ACCA / CIMA, possess good knowledge of a financial control environment and proactively look to enhance business relationships across the region and wider group.


The role also offers excellent flexibility of an element of business travel to different sites, working from office and from home and flexible hours that will suit both business and individual.
