The Investment Management Division comprises experienced and specialised investment professionals.

Insight's global CIO is based in London and the Investment Team also has a significant presence in our US offices in New York, Boston and San Francisco.


Both the structure of the team and the systems platform have been designed to provide scalability as well as complete flexibility.

This flexibility allows us to tailor our offering to suit clients' specific requirements, putting our clients' needs at theheart of our investment solutions.


Two considerations have shaped our investment range: our clients' objectives and a philosophy of only focusing on those things we know we can do well.

This allows us to aim to deliver consistent and repeatable performance.

Our capabilities include fixedincome, risk management strategies including liability-driven investment (LDI) and currency risk management, absolute return and multi-asset capabilities.

Institutional clients are able to access these capabilities on a segregated account basis or via ourpooled fund range.


The Secured Finance Group is responsible for over $15bn in assets under management split across public and private fixed income opportunities and across international markets.

The global team consists of 23 individuals across a variety of portfolio management,investment analysis and transaction management roles.

The Group has grown rapidly over the last several years as clients increasingly seek the attractive risk-adjusted offerings available within the securitized markets.


Role accountabilities:

  • Responsible for the credit analysis and research of structured credit instruments, particularly focusing on the EUR CLO market for the Secured Finance Group
  • Review CLO documentation and recommend appropriate amendments in consultation with wider team to the Sell side
  • Stay abreast of regulatory requirements related to the CLO product and ensure that all investments are undertaken in a compliant manner
  • Lead on developing ESG frameworks both in the CLO and Secured Finance Group
  • Model new securities within our internal Portfolio Management system and other systems
  • Use Intex to price, stress test, and analyse CLO investments
  • Produce daily spread and new issue reports to keep Portfolio Managers informed of market conditions
  • Communicate with Sellside counterparties to collect information pertinent to the team
  • Help manage and coordinate new issue and secondary CLO orders and trading for European CLOs (and US CLOs where required) including order allocations, bookings and any trade / booking enquires
  • Responsible for helping with the ongoing monitoring of investment holdings including updating and managing relevant reports and reporting tools
  • Responding to client, PM and external Sellside / Regulatory enquires for EUR CLOs in particular as part of the CLO product team
  • Participate in the design and implementation of presentations and pitches for external clients to grow EUR CLO AUM but also US BSL and MM CLOs
  • Support any other investment opportunities and investment management activities for the Secured Finance Group from time to time as required.

Knowledge, skills and behaviours required:

  • 25 years of CLO experience at an asset management company, bank or rating agency
  • Strong grasp of CLO legal structures and documentation
  • Graduate from a top tier University with a high level of academic achievement
  • Background in mathematics, finance, or economics ideal
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Some familiarity with computer programming (R Statistical Language, VBA, Python) and Intex is preferred.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines with strong attention to detail
  • Progress towards earning a CFA is desirable
  • Strong relationship skills and ability to work in fast paced environment in a constructive manner with colleagues, clients and external counterparties
  • Confident in own abilities and able to respond to queries and challenge from colleagues, Sellside and clients in a positive and risk aware manner
  • Ability to articulate views and information clearly both verbally and in writing
