South Tyneside (Full Time)

£ per week (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)

About the role:


This 'Good' SEND school, based in South Tyneside, supports children and young people aged 4-11 and is looking to appoint a passionate
SEN Learning Support Assistant to work in either Key Stage 1, 2, 3 or 4 classes on a full-time basis.

Working in this Primary and Secondary SEND school as part of an established team, the desired
SEN Learning Support Assistant will be working on a small class sized basis with pupils with SEND including Autism and Moderate Learning Difficulties.

This full time
SEN Learning Support Assistant role is long term from January ongoing with the possibility of a permanent vacancy for the right person.

Requirements:

To be considered for the role of SEN Learning Support Assistant you will:

  • Experience of working with primary or secondary school aged children.
  • Experience of working with pupils with SEND or Autism.
  • A passion for the progress of SEND primary or secondary school pupils.
  • An ability to work as part of a team.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications.
