Position
Finance Digital Product Manager required to have end-to-end responsibility for specialist digital solutions that are unique to one Domain, ensuring a direct route to value and a sustainability transformational legacy.
MAIN AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY
- Generate business cases for specialist digital products which will deliver value aligned to the overall strategic portfolio of initiatives and demand prioritisation criteria.
- Generate ideas and innovate for specialist digital products which solve business problems, primarily within a domain.
- Be responsible for the testing performance of specialist products.
- Ensure all opportunities are taken to actively manage technical debt of specialist products, playing down tech debt during product capability releases and ensure platform upgrades are addressed.
- Provide ongoing risk management of relevant product(s) including information, Cybersecurity, business continuity, data privacy and plan for longerterm emergent risks.
- Oversee the alignment of supply and demand for relevant specialist product(s).
- Manage the transition and embedding of specialist digital products into Business As Usual (BAU).
- Deliver on cost inline with business case requirements for specialist products within Domains.
- Hold product teams to account to deliver to time, cost and quality.
- Manage product stage gate requirements and forums.
- Manage relationships with stakeholders throughout the specialist digital product lifecycle.
- Manage and assure own technical expertise and speak the language of the business.
- Review existing specialist product(s) for value realisation and decide whether to close, update or continue them (drawing in inputs from relevant stakeholders to form the assessment).
- Ensure optimal workflow, addressing constraints and bottlenecks using Agile and DevOps methods (waterfall by exception and phased out over time)
Essential Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- IT Knowledge on Digital Product Management
- Implementation of medium to large size projects
- Finance knowledge on processes related to Order to Cash, Tax & Customs
- Ability to operate at executive level, clear communication skills, customer first principles and great team worker
- Experience of delivering Digital initiatives
- Knowledge of testing frameworks. Ability to frame and structure business problems.
- Advanced data analysis skills.
- Experience of delivering through Agile.
- Experience of both front

THIS POSITION IS CONFIRMED INSIDE IR35
12 month contract as a start with potential extension following this period
