We are seeking Consultants/Senior Consultants to join our UK Legal & Contract Management Consulting team.

To succeed in this role, it is preferred that you have a legal/commercial qualification or other relevant degree (such as civil engineering, quantity surveying, project/construction management etc), and experience in commercial/contract management within in the construction industry.

You will join our Legal & Contract Management Consultant team:

This role will provide the opportunity to further their legal, contract management and consultancy experience, working with highly skilled teams to deliver best in class advisory services to the largest brands and on the most exciting programmes and projects.

This role will be a part of our growing Legal & Contract Management Consultant team and play a part in the continued expansion of our team and our services in this exciting period of growth.


This is a particularly exciting and unique opportunity, given the UK Legal & Contract Management Consulting team is a new business unit, and therefore there is lots of scope to develop wider business skills, alongside the technical offering.


Your responsibilities:


  • To provide legal and contract management advice to public and private sector clients
  • To collaborate with a team on endtoend procurement/contract services for major projects or programmes
  • Support the development of the services provided by Ramboll
  • To support the delivery of both team and wider business targets
  • To support the workwinning capability of the Legal & Contract Management Consultant team
  • To help strategize target clients, pursuit plans and identify routes to market, and then develop collateral to support business growth
  • Entrepreneurial mindset required, given this will be a new business unit within Ramboll

For this role, we believe your starting point is a combination of the following skills:


  • Experience of working in a strategic procurement environment is preferable, including tender preparation and development
  • Experience of managing inflight projects/programmes
  • Experience of frontend strategic advice, at project inception/feasibility
  • Experience of developing and awarding contracts individually or as part of a team, such as drafting, negotiating, providing advice on commercial risks etc
  • Knowledge of multiple supply markets with cross sector experience with Public Contract Regulations or equivalent
  • Awareness of a range of standard form contracts including NEC, JCT and FIDIC
  • Preferably possess experience working in Defence, Transport, Utilities, Infrastructure (roads, rail etc) sectors
  • Security Clearance (SC) currently valid or could be reinstated would be preferred
