Operational Analytics Consultant

The Operational Analytics Team creates an opportunity to be involved in a number of different projects and pieces of work that contribute to the wider business's success
This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from our Leeds office. Aon is in the business of better decisions

What the day will look like
Performing various analytical processes to support our investment management business, including but not limited to; portfolio reconciliation, regulatory reporting, portfolio analysis and supporting asset tracking systems
Involvement across various aspects of AIL projects and initiatives
Analysis and the production of management information that supports other areas of the AIL business
Production, analysis and management of data to support reporting to clients and regulatory bodies
Transitioning processes to future operating models
Continually developing and improving processes across Asset Management Operations
Ensuring queries are resolved in a timely manner
Maintaining and creating documentation for a variety of procedures and processes How this opportunity is different

Skills and experience that will lead to success
An analytical mindset and experience in analysing complex data
Maintaining and developing new process and procedures
Learning new systems and transferring existing work to new systems
The ability to work to tight deadlines without hindering the accuracy of the end product being generated
Project Management - evolving projects involve close interaction with many different parties
A sound general knowledge of IT programs such as excel and word
Investment experience preferred
Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to build and maintain working relationships with both internal and external clients
