SALES ADMINISTRATOR


The Sales Administrator is a key role within the sales department supporting the coordination of internal and field based personnel, specifically in relation to the delivery of targets and objectives in the wider context of department policies and processes.


Reporting to the Sales Administrator Manager you will be supporting the smooth running of the department, ensuring good internal communications, adherence to process, and delivery of milestones.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide administrative and other support to the Sales Administration Manager
  • Support the maintenance of Salesforce (CRM) and the underlying sales activities including: lead creation; account and contact management; pipeline management; and report generation
  • Support the preparation of tender submissions by collating information and data
  • Field, prioritise and manage inbound enquiries from customers, in accordance with the Company Charter
  • Coordinate clients' problem resolution directly, where possible, and passing on to relevant colleagues and departments as necessary
  • Coordinating account managers' diaries & scheduling appointments when required
  • Following up quotations sent by account managers and discussing with the prospective client the content and next steps, up to the point of closure
  • Creating and amending quotations when the account manager is unavailable to do so
  • Coordinating the provision & maintenance of client data estate reviews for Key Accounts in particular
  • Liaising with other departments to ensure smooth delivery of projects
  • Perform other salesrelated administration functions as required
  • Provide cover and supervision for the card production as required.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience of:

  • Experience of working within a Sales Administration role
  • Hold a Level 2 Business Administration and/or relevant qualification would be advantageous
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • Good understanding of financial sales pipelines, forecasting and managing small proposals
  • A good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Experience of using CRM system.
