Please note this is a part time post and the salary for this position will be pro-rata.


Job Purpose
The post holder will carry out duties involving direct patient care as delegated by the registered nurse.

Will regularly work without supervision after appropriate training/induction to provide care and support to patients/relatives/carers The post holder will ensure a person centred approach to care delivery which is safe and effective to ensure and maintain quality strategy.


Knowledge, Training and/or Experience required to do the job

  • SVQ III in healthcare, or working towards, or equivalent experience working within a caring environment/role.
  • Ability to work with people and as part of a multidisciplinary/agency team.
  • Ability to carry out assigned patient care tasks effectively within a busy environment.
  • Ability to work unsupervised.
  • To actively participate in the Personal Development Plan process to fulfil the requirements of continuing professional development.
