Doctors Direct have an new and exciting opportunity for a Consultant to work with us at
George Eliot Hospital NHS Trust in Haematology.
We are looking for a dedicated doctor ready to work in a fast-paced environment at a Trust serving more than 300,000 people across North Warwickshire, South West Leicestershire and North Coventry.
This role would be predominantly based at
George Eliot Hospital with the opportunity to work extra shifts across the Trusts' other sites and any of our partner Trusts.
George Eliot Hospital NHS Trust opened in 1948 and provides a range of elective, non-elective, surgical, medical, women's, children's, diagnostic and therapeutic services.

Start date: ASAP on going until further notice.

Consultant rates: £100-£120 depending on experience
Your role will include:
- Delivering clinical care, often for lifethreatening disease
- Formulating chemotherapyprotocols and managing their delivery
- Managing haematopoietic stem cell transplantation procedures
- Providing advice on haematology laboratory results
- Sampling the bone marrow through biopsies and interpreting the morphology under a microscope
- Performing lumbar punctures and giving intrathecal chemotherapy
- Valid GMC
- Right to work in the UK
- Clinical attachment complete
- Minimum of 3 months paid experience in the NHS/UK
