Overview:

An excellent opportunity has arisen with a global consultancy that specialise within the financial services sector who are seeking a
Network Security/Cyber Analyst on a hybrid basis to be based in Sittingbourne paying up to £50,000 per annum.

They are seeking a talented
Network Security /Cyber Analyst to provide technical assistance with the initial set-up and secure deployment of systems that support information security.

You'll be joining and helping to drive forward a new cyber securityteam, dedicated to not only responding to security incidences and threats, but pro-actively protecting clients from all cyber security threats.

Helping you achieve your career goals is a priority in our expanding team, so you'll be talking to your managerregularly about how you can continue growing alongside the business.

Role and Responsibilities:

Securing networks with firewalls and network access controls
Monitoring and remediating security alerts from scanning tools, server logs, our AV & EDR solutions, and user reports
Keeping client's environments compliant with MFA, AV and Encryption
Responding to incidents
Creating new processes to prevent future incidents
Managing projects such as deploying MDM and security products to client environments

Essential Skills and Experience:

Extensive handson experience configuring and troubleshooting customer requirements and support issues in a changing Server, Storage, Application and Networking environment.
Knowledge of technical infrastructure, networks, databases, and systems in relation to IT Security and IT Risk.
Experience in integrating security controls into an Azure cloud environment, and on premises infrastructure, including end user support
Credible, confident, and articulate, with excellent communication and presentation skills and the gravitas to deliver ideas clearly and concisely to internal and external stakeholders at all levels of seniority
Advantageous to have experience with Cloud Security, SIEM systems, InTune and scripting
