The journey started when we launched unsecured personal loans in June 2017. We went on to be the first direct to consumer car finance provider in December 2017. Since then, we have gone from strength to strength and have some exciting plans for the future.
We're looking for people who are keen to learn, excited about getting stuck in and are ready for a challenge to help us to achieve our aim of creating a special lending business for our customers.
Role Overview
Key Duties
- Assisting with the day to day leadership of the team, encouraging a positive mentality
- Effective prioritising of work loads and team resourcing
- Conducting monthly one to one and owning the coaching/development of each team member
- Ensuring required standards are being maintained through monthly quality checks
- Monthly reporting of team performance to the Team Manager and Collections Management Team
- Monitoring team productivity and availability for customers
- Assisting in complaint handling
- Take customer calls where required
- Communicating new changes and/or key focus areas
- SME within Collections (Policy, Process, System, Regulatory Requirements (CONC 7) Technology and Suppliers)
- Assist the team with their knowledge and decision making
- Identify training needs, arranging training, coaching and feedback where required via monthly QA
- Adhoc duties as required
- Ensure all procedures are reviewed and kept up to date
- Work closely with the Team Manager to regular update on case volumes, operational feedback and BAU requirements
Essential Skills
- Ability to lead by example, engages and build strong relationships with the team
- Passion for coaching and developing team members
- Ideally have the ability and desire to contribute in the overall growth of the Collections and Recovery department
- Troubleshooting to identify areas of improvement, this can be systematic or personnel
- A strong focus on quality, receptive to feedback and effective when giving feedback to others

- Have a good understanding of our Collections policy and processes, and the confidence to challenge existing work practices to ensure we are continuously improving as a team
