Manchester Staff is searching for an Audit and Compliance Support professional to join their clients well established client's firm in Cheadle Hulme.


The company is rapidly growing and as a result, is now looking for a confident and organised person to join their team.

To conduct audits within the UK in conjunction with the Audit and Compliance team. To audit insurance related products and processes and provide reports to the Audit and Compliance Manager and the board whilst also assisting with Due Diligence visits tonew agents and compliance tasks as and when required


The Role

  • Assist with audit visits to a variety of different insurance and service providers.
  • Assisting with the completion of audit reports for each visit.
  • Provide facetoface and written feedback in a clear and concise manner to external agents and internal management.
  • Review compliance sections and documents received from cover holder audits.
  • Attend Due Diligence Visits as required and complete a report for each one.
  • Complete general compliance tasks as and when requested by the Audit and Compliance Manager.
  • Assisting with Internal Audits as and when required in conjunction with the Audit and Compliance Manager.
  • Deal with the Complaints inbox and ensure all FOS complaints are dealt with.

Experience

  • Good interpersonal and influencing skills, for building relationships and negotiating with clients.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, for presenting complex information with accuracy and clarity.
  • Good organisational and administrative skills.
  • Sound analytical skills, for effectively gathering, interpreting and evaluating data and information.
  • Critical thinking skills, for reviewing audit evidence and making sound judgments.
  • An aptitude and desire to continue learning, for developing the technical knowledge and skills you'll need in this role.
  • Able to work as an effective team member.
  • Selfmotivated and able to work under own initiative.
  • Committed to working towards a career in Insurance.

Essential
GCSEs A* - C in Maths and English
Very good working knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office
12 months of experience working within the Insurance or Finance industry


Desirable
A Levels
Previous compliance experience (internal or external)
