We've got big growth and transformation ambitions for this segment and in this role, you will play a key role in forming this new combined unit and working with the leadership team to continue to drive for growth.


The purpose of this role is to address the market opportunity for our complex Data portfolio (Internet access and data networking) within a defined territory, to grow market share and customer revenues, by providing specialist technical knowledge to grow existing customer spend into future revenue streams and acquire new business, whilst understanding customer needs and aligning to BT and Channel Strategy to move to new IP products (Broadband, BTnet &,SDWAN etc) for our SMB customers and BTLB partners.


What you'll be doing

  • Achieves 100% or more of product set target aligned to territory using Sales methodology & sales plans.
  • You lead the review, analysis and interpretation of sales trends across their applicable product pillars for ensuring the delivery of sales and commercial KPIs. You set up and implement the commercial levers that will drive and optimise these KPIs to maximise sales performance and take corrective actions.
  • Maintain a high awareness and knowledge of the SME market, including industry, competitors and telecoms and internal activities (and guide others to do the same) to ensure that all business opportunities are identified, considered and implemented appropriately contributing to the wider Field Sales Strategy.
  • Sales management & coaching capability with regard multiple to complex stakeholder management skills

What we would like to see on your CV

  • Data and internet access or IP voice sales skills understand the market and key drivers from customers to change providers
  • Planning & organisation coordinate the sales specialists with the LB to create new and maximise existing opportunities within the LB territory.
  • Collaboration skills collaborate with Propositions & Product teams to provide win/loss feedback to ensure our products are developed to optimise market opportunity
  • Team working work closely with Trading and Finance teams on key deals that require special pricing (War Room) to secure revenue for BT
