Our client consists of 50+ accountancy and tax professionals in London and the Midlands, and they

focus on providing an extremely personalised service to individuals and businesses in the media and

entertainment industry. They act for some of the biggest worldwide names in the film, television and

fashion industries, who demand excellent client service and total command of their complex affairs.

The firm's premium clients engage them for a complete suite of services, which can range from

managing their day-to-day finances to advising on their international business structures with cross-border tax issues.

After many years of advising clients in these specialist industries, they have built up a formidable

reputation and bank of clients, and they continue to expand rapidly, often through client referrals.

Given this ongoing expansion, they now have a new position for a Senior Accounts Manager to join

their London office.

Responsibilities:


  • Directly manage a portfolio of clients and demonstrate excellent communication and
understanding of their commercial needs

  • Actively manage a team of accountancy staff (approx. 10) and ensure they flourish
professionally

  • Allocating work to team members and ensuring all work is completed within the allocated
timescales

  • Preparing full budget reports including charge out rates and calculation of recovery rates on
a monthly basis

  • Review financial statements and Corporation Tax returns for final Partner review
  • Review management accounts and send to clients
  • Manage the bookkeeping and VAT affairs for client portfolio
  • Assist clients with the setting up and development of internal systems and controls
  • Draft letters to clients regarding accounts & tax matters
  • Hold client meetings
  • Authorise staff timesheets and manage the billing process
  • Lead weekly manager meetings to discuss work management
  • Manage internal training for staff
