Permanent, 37 hours per week. Applications for part time, 18.5 hours per week will also be considered.

We are seeking to appoint a Homelessness Intervention Officer.

About the role
As part of the Housing Solutions Team, you will:
Have a knowledge on Homelessness, Early intervention and Prevention of Homelessness

Provide both telephone and face to face service

Provide advice and support on early intervention, housing and related matters


Engage our customers to understand their strengths, talents, ambitions and to identify areas they may require additional support to obtain or maintain housing.

Provide an effective, professional homelessness service on behalf of the Council.


This is an exciting time within the homelessness sector as we continue to create positive change and improve wellbeing under the Homelessness Reduction Act.

As our Homeless Intervention Officer, you will have a vital role in helping us shape our service provided under this legislation to the benefit of our customers.
