Job Title:
Intensive Support Worker


Hours: 37 hours per week

Salary:
£21,510.32 gross per annum plus shift enhancement for weekend working (pay review pending)


Location:
Intensive Support Environment (Francis House, Grace Lodge, Oakdale House)


Beacon Leeds provides intensive support housing in three communal environments and a variety of single and shared community accommodation throughout the city.

We work with and support clients to maximise their potential by helping them enhance and develop skills that will ultimately help them maintain their own independent tenancies and undertake meaningful occupation such as employment, education, training or volunteering.

The role can be challenging at times. However. the reward of supporting people to achieve their goals outweighs this time after time.


You should also have the ability to work a rota that includes working shifts between the hours of 7.30am and 20.00pm on weekdays, week-ends and bank holidays.

(Enhancements are paid for working weekends and bank holidays).


You will be able to demonstrate a positive, flexible attitude towards work; be self-motivated and confident and can build positive relationships quickly.


In addition, you will have an understanding of and commitment to safeguarding service users and helping them develop strategies to keep themselves safe from risk and harm.
