We have an exciting opportunity for an individual to join our Money Processing & Reporting (MPR) team for a fixed term contract (ending December 2023).

The Role
The role will be within the Investment Admin area and this specific role will be in the Money Processing & Reporting (MPR) team.
To deliver in this role, the job holder must have a good knowledge of payment processes within a platform operation's, including the technology, the tax wrappers and the associated regulations and must have a flexible, can-do approach, taking full responsibility for each customer transaction.
Investment Admin operate a daily clear to zero policy, requiring flexibility and commitment from each team member, offering opportunities to work across all teams within Investment Admin.
Key responsibilities- Responsibility for running and maintaining core team processes, including daily cash payments, payment issue investigation, cash, and Tax reporting, manage corporate funding process, consistencies against procedures, process checking and error control.
- Process management of exceptions arising from payment/reporting, this is typically, the result of processing failures that require investigation and a solution outside the standard model.
- Take responsibility for own development and work towards completing capability matrix measures and actively seek to build a full working knowledge of all end to end processes of the area. Also work towards IOC qualifications if appropriate.
- Work of colleague's quality assured to ensure that errors are minimised, and the customer receives the best quality service. As required and determined by the knowledge and experience of the job holder, support the development of Investment Admin colleagues by providing structured coaching and mentoring support for less experienced team members to ensure their training experience is enhanced and knowledge is shared across Investment Admin.
- Responsible for recommending changes to procedures, process and technology and participating in their implementation to improve the customer experience, reduce risk and maximise efficiency.
- Keep up to date with the rapid changes to the Platform proposition, regulations, and AEGON's strategic direction.

- Good understanding of the Financial Services industry and the platform market in particular
- Knowledge of platform investments
- A strong grasp of banking processes, types of payments, processing times and associated regulations
- Understanding of Tax processes within a platform environment
